Mirriam Mambwe is a creative leader whose passion for rural development through education is driven from her own story. She leads the team in ensuring that the children and youth in less privileged communities are provided with opportunities to actualize their dream. Mirriam understands the challenges vulnerably faced by children in the rural areas as she was born and raised in chanyanya village. A fishing village in kafue whose main challenge is early marriage, long distance to school and lack of secondary schools in the area making continuity of school hard. She is therefore a trust-based philanthropy who ensures that resources are directed to the intended purpose. She was inspired into a journey of philanthropy through her past childhood -young adulthood experiences which led to her desire to do something for her community so as to produce more children with a positive attitude and right mind-set towards education. It all began with feeding the homeless program in February 2020 which led to the creation of the Mirriam Mambwe Rural Scholarship foundation in 2024 2 February with the intention of providing school related materials such as books, pens, pencils, shoes, bags and uniforms as well as creating an opportunity for the children scholarships at secondary and tertiary levels.
