1.How did you start the organization?

From feeding the homeless and also out of passion for supporting rural Education

2.What inspired you?

Our Executive Director’s own story.

3.Where is it based?

Chanyanya rural area, Kafue Zambia.

4.For how long has it been in existence?

One year (1).

5.How many kids do you have on the program?

Over 100.

6.What age group do you consider in your organization?

Nine years and above.

7.Do you get any support from the government?

Not yet.

8.What challenges do you face?

Children dropping out of school because of distance, early marriages and lack of food.

9.How do you run the organization?

Through support from well-wishers and donors as well as volunteers.

10.What impact has it brought to your community?

Over 20 Children who dropped out of school due to lack of support have been taken back to school and over 80 are happily in school.

11. what scares you the most about running the organization?

Failing to continue.

12.What excites you the most about running the organization?

We got started and a child’s dream somewhere is being supported by us.

13.What areas do you focus on when supporting the kids?

It’s a holistic kind of approach which led to the creation of Small Mummy’s Open Center where all the kids meet on all working days inclusive of school holidays.
